Family Constellations

For the past few months, I have been participating in family constellation sessions and am hooked. FC is part therapy, part shamanic theater with the outcome equal parts ancestral healing and an empowered client. Every time is an adventure.

At the beginning of a constellation the client speaks the intention for the constellation- usually an experience of a static place in their life or a desire to grow. The facilitator asks for a specific number of participants. The volunteers then become 'representatives' in the constellation.

'Participants' play everything from specific family members to general concepts such as beauty. I have played aborted children in the family but most recently I played the role of War.

The lessons I channeled- and I use that word not having the precise language to describe the experience- were profound.

1: War will always exist
2: It is of the utmost importance for the younger generations to learn from what has happened
3: There is a sacred law to be honored when going to war- their are ways to prepare, honor the dead and the enemy- without this there is no balance
4: War's lover/equal/opposite is Justice. Justice comes to put the dead to rest an allow the living to move on.

I really have never experienced anything like Family constellations, it is subtle and powerful, safe enough that most people feel comfortable holding space if not participating yet really really on the edge in terms of wholeness and health,

I write this through tears of pain and rage, holding strong the vision of our beautiful world in my heart. -- post was written on the events of the gulf but my sadness and anger are amplified by the recent situation off the coast of Israel , all the killing, violation of international law and small mindedness. I chose to use this as fuel for a vision of actual change . Let us do so together!!!

What if this oil spill presents the greatest opportunity for our human family to rise up together takign a stand for our Earth and future generations of this planet. So many of us have cried out for alternative energy solutions, corruption free politics, and the removal of big business from the command control center.

I see members of BP's board of directors down by the coast cleaning up the mess with their time & their hands. I demand it! We demand it!

Legislators around the country passing and enacting laws that surpass any environmental regulations we have seen so far. And we the people of the United States, powerful beyond our greatest imaginings leveraging our dollars to support our vision and words- becoming pioneers, looking to the old ways and integrating the new in the care-taking of our planet

Please let us share this viosn and make it our truth. And remind me of it when I feel like I do today.
